If I were to summarize my life until just recently, I’d say I was a listener. It is through listening, not speaking, that we learn. While I find myself speaking now for the first time in my life, I know it’s only because after intently listening for so long that I now have something to say. I can’t underscore the power of listening to quality conversation and insights. In fact, I attribute everything I have to say in the world to a spark that originated in my role as a listener.
